Dogs and Moving the Furniture

In an effort to get ready for Baby we're moving some office furniture to the basement and turning the office into the nursery.  This sounds easy enough.  Although while my husband and I pack boxes and/or haul heavy things up and down stairs in a somewhat cheerful way... Winnie seems to be very worried about the changes.  I wish I had had my Flip handy because the poor creature just sat in the doorway of the office and whimpered.  She is seriously concerned about these changes.  Which leads me to ponder the following thought...

Don't mind me.  I'm just going to sit in my corner and pout.

When Baby actually gets here how will Winnie adjust to a new routine?  Maybe we should start making more of the changes now that way it's not such a big deal.  Hum... up every 2 hours for a bottle... maybe not THAT part of the routine.  :-)

I'm sure she'll be confused and upset for a while, but she will get used to everything :) Maybe get her a new toy or give her a yummy treat whenever you move your furniture?

It's fine, let your husband rearrange them while you take care of Baby. Uhhmm may I just ask, who is this Baby you are speaking of? LOL. Don't mind Winnie, I think she'll get used to it one day.

We welcomed a daughter in September. :-) Winnie has since played like a champion. She used to get up with me at every feeding until she realized that we REALLY didn't need a corgi for the activity so now she just keeps an eye between our bedroom and the nursery from the hallway.

I will also say that Winnie, although in love with baby Claire, is still loyal to me. :-) She goes where I go... even if Claire dosen't. :-) Is it bad that this flatters my ego?
